Save the date  for the inaugural California Sustainable Tourism Summit, Oct. 1, at Asilomar Conference Grounds in Monterey. Sponsored by the California Travel and Tourism Commission, the one-day conference is geared for hotels, chambers of commerce, convention and visitors bureaus and “all those who realize the importance of promoting, preserving and protecting their destination while maintaining economic growth through tourism.” Anaheim could have used this 50 years ago … Some encouraging news for our local economy.
