Former PG&E exec and current Tribune “As We See It” columnist Missie Hobson’s tenacious spirit (and dedicated family and great friends) have carried her through surgery and a grueling series of breast cancer chemo treatments. She tackles radiation in March. The smart money’s on Missie to show this disease who’s boss. Celebration plans when treatment’s complete? ”I’m going to Disneyland.” … Kitty Arosteguy, the enterprising owner of Spa Central Coast, has opened a wine bar next to the spa at 6155 El Camino in Atascadero. Kitty calls it “Haven” and the name fits. Local wines, a tasty bistro menu, overstuffed chairs and a 12-week-old St. Bernard puppy make it a cozy spot.
