Fighting juvenile diabetes is a family affair for Sierra Vista COO Joe DeSchryver and wife Laurie. Son Kyle’s diagnosis led Laurie to leadership positions with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and kids Kyle and Callie onto the red carpet at a recent JDRF event in LA. The pint-sized stars’ turn included walking former major league baseball star Todd Zeile onto stage. Callie was thrilled when “Hannah Montana’s daddy” – that would be Billy Ray Cyrus – admired her pink cowboy boots.
