Cambria is now on the receiving end of the Bay News distribution route. Nice timing with summer tourists, business upticks and plenty of news to report … A gentleman (and his wife and daughter) of Verona: Superior Court Judge Marty Tangeman, his wife Carol and daughter Marissa are heading to Verona in August for a fabulous one-year gig living under the Italian sun. His Honor has taken an unpaid sabbatical from the bench and will be teaching Comparative Law at a Verona University. Arrivederci!
BCA loves having a little fun with social media. (Didn’t know that already? Check out our Facebook page. Like it while you’re there.) And BCA loves having a little fun in the community too. The resulting collision of fun? Caboodle. The social media contest was a fun mix of Facebook, Foursquare and traditional outreach. While we enjoyed watching the participation and our partners got some exposure in the community, we had a gaggle of winners too! Our top winner, Mike McCarty of SLO, won a brand-spanking-new iPad from MacSuperstore. Other big thanks: Windows on the Water, Doc Burnstein’s, Pomar Junction, Idler’s, Galaxy Theatres, the Morro Bay Natural History Museum and Nautical Bean.
